Alexandra Parson 

Professional experience

Alex is Head of US Institutional at Nomura Asset Management International. In this role, she leads the institutional business development, consultant relations, relationship management, and client service teams. She joined Nomura Asset Management as part of Nomura’s acquisition of Macquarie Asset Management’s US and European public investments business in 2025.

Previously, she was Head of US Institutional Relationship Management at Nomura Asset Management International and, before that, at Macquarie Asset Management, where she led the team of senior relationship managers and institutional client account managers responsible for maintaining and growing client relationships for the institutional business. Prior to that, she focused primarily on the Sub-Advisory business, as a Senior Relationship Manager and before that as a Sales and Marketing Specialist. She joined Delaware Investments (which was acquired by Macquarie in 2010) as an Associate High Yield Bond Trader in 2000. Previously, Alex was a Senior Investment Analyst at Conseco Capital Management, where she supervised all pricing, modeling, and analytics of fixed income assets.

Alex earned a Bachelor of Science in anthropology from Grinnell College, and a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in finance from Butler University.
