Nomura VIP Mid Cap Growth Series is an actively managed portfolio of high-quality mid-cap companies. The strategy employs fundamental, bottom-up research with a quality-first framework, targeting competitively advantaged businesses capable of sustaining growth beyond market expectations.
Quality-first discipline
Business model durability precedes growth evaluation – high margins, strong cash flows, and sound balance sheets
Diversified growth
Portfolio invests across the growth spectrum to optimize the balance of growth and valuation within quality growth stocks
Experienced team
Led by portfolio managers with decades of shared experience navigating multiple market cycles
Markets systemically overestimate the growth-rate fade factor of high-quality businesses. Companies with durable competitive advantages can sustain growth far longer than consensus pricing reflects. This is the strategy’s primary targeted source of alpha.
Mid-caps are the sweet spot of the economy – large enough for durable franchises with pricing power, small enough for meaningful growth and market inefficiency.
Quality creates opportunity by focusing on business durability rather than short-term growth rates, the strategy seeks to identify companies where sustainable growth exceeds market expectations – often before the market recognizes it.
Diversification across growth spectrum ensures the strategy isn't dependent on a single market environment to perform.
Multi-year investment horizons and low turnover (typically < 30%) allow for early positioning and patience when conviction is high.

The performance quoted represents past performance and does not guarantee future results. Investment return and principal value of an investment will fluctuate so that shares, when redeemed, may be worth more or less than their original cost. Current performance may be lower or higher than the performance quoted.
Total returns may reflect waivers and/or expense reimbursements by the manager and/or distributor (as applicable) for some or all of the periods shown. Performance would have been lower without such waivers and reimbursements.
Returns for less than one year are not annualized.
The performance and expense ratio information shown represent the performance and fees as they relate to actual shares of the Series. These examples do not include any fees or sales charges imposed by the variable insurance contract for which the Series is an investment option. If they were included, your costs would be higher and performance would be lower. Investors should consult the contract prospectus or disclosure documents for more information.
Index performance returns do not reflect any management fees, transaction costs, or expenses. Indices are unmanaged and one cannot invest directly in an index.
